Admissions Assessor/PD

Contribute to the delivery of high-quality crisis intervention and referral services, schedule and coordinate assessments, and process admissions while ensuring all services are provided in accordance with hospital standards and guidelines.

• Provide initial assessment and counseling to patients, responding to each individual or family in a timely manner with appropriate clinical intervention and judgment.
• Offer additional evaluation or consultation as needed, including psychiatric assessments.
• Respond to phone calls and messages in a timely manner.
• Ensure a smooth transition of the admission process, alleviating anxieties related to treatment and financial responsibility.
• Maintain confidentiality and safeguard patient and employee-related information.
• Adapt to changes and demonstrate a positive attitude and flexibility in scheduling and performing duties.
• Present a positive, friendly, and helpful attitude in daily interactions with patients, staff, and visitors.

Education: Master's Level Clinician

Experience: Two (2) years in the Mental Health field, preferably in Intake/Triage/Admissions area
