New Grad RN I Position

Alameda Health System is seeking a motivated and compassionate New Grad RN I to join our team in the Emergency Department.
Job Summary:The New Grad RN Program provides an opportunity for recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced emergency setting. As a New Grad RN I, you will work under close supervision to provide high-quality patient care, including medication administration, skin and wound care, and other essential patient care activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Accompany and assist patients to meet their needs, representing their needs to other providers.
- Provide accurate and respectful care, including medication administration, skin and wound care, and ADLs.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans, preparing required records and reports.
- Gather and assess patient information to meet nursing needs, assisting and consulting with physicians as needed.
- Participate in promoting a healthful, safe, and therapeutic environment for patients and families, setting up and controlling the environment essential for infection control.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program required; Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
- Valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of California.
- BLS - Basic Life Support Certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- Preferred certifications include ACLS, PALS, and CPI.
