Job Description:

As a Labor and Delivery Nurse with All Medical Personnel, you will be responsible for assisting, supporting, and educating women during the four stages of delivery: antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and neonatal. This is a travel nursing position that requires 1-2 years of recent Labor and Delivery experience. The ideal candidate will have current ACLS and BLS certifications, NRP certification, and recent fetal monitoring experience. You will also need an active State Nursing license.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor patients throughout the labor process, including antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and neonatal stages.
• Monitor contractions and help patients with breathing techniques.
• Monitor fetal heart rate and mother's vital signs.
• Care for patients on Pitocin, MgSO4, and continuous lumbar epidural.
• Check patient's cervix periodically to monitor progression or lack of dilation.
