Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Trademark Paralegal to join our Intellectual Property and Trademark (IP&T) team in the United States. This role will support local IP&T practitioners as well as the national practice group.

Key Responsibilities
  • We are looking for a paralegal with experience in trademark prosecution, maintenance, and enforcement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in conducting trademark searches, preparing and filing U.S. trademark applications, and communicating with clients regarding routine trademark matters.
  • The selected candidate will assist attorneys with TTAB filings, prepare and file trademark documents with WIPO, collaborate with foreign counsel on international trademark matters, and conduct due diligence on trademark portfolios.
  • This is a full-time position that requires a strong work ethic, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree is required, preferably in a related field such as business or law.
  • The ideal candidate will have 4-10 years of experience in a trademark department, including at least 4 years focused on trademark prosecution. Experience with copyrights is a plus.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, research, organizational, and analytical skills are essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, PDF creation tools, document management software, and timekeeping systems.
  • The selected candidate will be able to guide and train junior team members, maintain confidentiality, and meet minimum billable hour requirements.
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is estimated to be between $100,000 and $120,000 per year, depending on experience.
