Job Title: ICU Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled ICU Nurse Specialist to join our team at MedPro Healthcare Staffing. As a travel ICU Registered Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, providing exceptional patient care and support to our clients.

About the Job

This ICU/Critical Care Nurse (RN) position requires a strong background in adult patient care, with a focus on managing life-threatening problems and providing high-intensity therapies and interventions. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care and education to patients and their families
  • Ensure proper functioning of life support equipment, such as ventilators and feeding tubes
  • Monitor patient vital signs and administer medication as needed
  • Document patient care and treatment plans accurately and thoroughly
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
  • Active RN license
  • Degree from an accredited nursing program
  • BLS and ACLS certification
  • Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care ICU setting
