Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Forklift Operator to join our team at Seneca Foods. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient movement of goods and materials throughout our warehouse facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a forklift to transport goods and materials within the warehouse, ensuring safe and efficient movement.
  • Scan and verify inventory levels, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Stack and un-stack totes, and move them throughout the plant as needed.
  • Weigh and tag product coming off the line, ensuring accurate labeling and tracking.
  • Perform daily forklift checks and maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Assist in the maintenance and repair of totes and other equipment as needed.
Requirements
  • OSHA Forklift license and certification.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity standards.
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects, and stand for long periods.
Working Conditions

The Forklift Operator will work in a warehouse environment, exposed to various temperatures, humidity, and noise levels. The position requires the ability to work in a team environment and maintain a clean and organized work area.
