About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Nurse Specialist in Surgical Care.

Estimated Salary Range: $71,230 - $141,017 per year.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care to surgical step-down patients, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and perform other medical procedures as required.
  • Educate patients and families on post-surgical recovery and care techniques.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher is preferred.
  • Must hold or be eligible for a Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is a plus.
  • A minimum of one year of RN experience in step-down, med-surg, or ICU settings is preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills are essential.
