Product Photographer Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Product Photographer to join our team at Superfly Bonsai. As a Product Photographer, you will be responsible for capturing high-quality images of our products to showcase on our website and other marketing channels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and clean the studio daily to ensure a professional and organized workspace.
• Capture and process images until you achieve the desired results, using your expertise in photography and editing software.
• Create product listings on our website, adding photographs and videos to showcase our products in the best possible light.
• Capture multiple photographs of products, including 360 photos, 360 videos, event videos and photos, and social media videos and photos.
• Work to improve image quality using various programs and editing methods, ensuring our products are presented in the best possible way.
• Use, maintain, and care for camera equipment, including cameras, lenses, and other accessories.
• Arrange objects, scenery, lighting, background, etc. to meet specific requirements for certain platforms, such as Amazon.
• Research products to better understand how to photograph them, ensuring our images are accurate and appealing.
• Assist with inventory of specific items, as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned, which may include tasks for any department.

Requirements:

• Photography experience is a must, with product photography experience a plus.
• Extensive knowledge of photography, cameras, and equipment is required.
• An attractive portfolio showcasing your work is essential.
• Ability and willingness to learn Iconasys and Shutter programs is necessary.
• Photoshop experience is a plus.
• Good time management skills and ability to work with limited supervision are required.
• Professional and courteous demeanor is essential.
• Excellent computer skills are necessary.
• Responsible and punctual, with a strong work ethic.

Location: Harrisburg, PA

Compensation: $13-16/hour

Reports to: Cecily Staub (Office Manager)

Status: Full-Time, Non-Exempt with occasional evening, holiday, and weekend hours
