Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team at Christus Health. As a key member of our clinic staff, you will provide high-quality patient care under the supervision of a physician or registered nurse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide basic patient care duties, including vital sign collection, patient weighing, and specimen collection.
  • Assist providers with examination and treatment of patients, as well as with procedures.
  • Assist with patient flow through the clinic, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
  • Answer phone calls and record messages, assisting providers with patient-related communications.
  • Schedule test appointments, results, and pre-certification as needed.
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly.
  • Administer medications and immunizations as ordered by providers.
  • Clean and restock exam rooms, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
  • Perform routine clerical duties, including chart location, filing, and form completion.
  • Attend required meetings and in-service training, and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Certification as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
  • LVN License in the state of employment or compact
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
