Toddler Care Specialist

M&R Preschool Inc is seeking a Toddler Care Specialist to join our team in Chatsworth. As an Infant/Toddler Teacher, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to infants, toddlers, and preschool children.

About Our Facility:

  • We are a licensed preschool facility with a focus on early childhood development.

Responsibilities:

  1. Plan and implement educational activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development.
  2. Develop and maintain a safe and healthy learning environment.
  3. Establish and maintain effective communication with parents and staff.
  4. Assist with daily routines, including feeding, changing, and bathing.
  5. Participate in ongoing professional development to improve teaching skills.
  6. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency in teaching practices.
  7. Document and report student progress to parents.

Requirements:

  • Completed 12 semester units of Early Childhood Development education and experience working with infants or toddlers.
  • Ability to work full-time.
  • Pass Live Scan fingerprinting background check and provide proof of TB Test.
  • At least 1 year experience working in a licensed childcare setting.
  • At least 1 year experience potty training in a licensed childcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
