Heavy Duty Truck Repair Specialist

As a Mobile Truck Technician at Midwest Peterbilt Group, you will perform repair of heavy-duty trucks off site with minimal supervision while working in the field. This role requires a high level of technical expertise and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Perform skilled mechanical repairs on trucks and equipment at customer locations or in the field.
- Assist in training new technicians into the Mobile Technician role.
- Perform initial inspections and diagnose failures to determine if repairs can be made in the field or if the unit needs to be transported to an MPG shop for repairs.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Diploma from a technical college or equivalent experience in heavy-duty truck repair.
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills.
Working Conditions:
- Work from a mobile repair truck or van at customer locations or in the field.
- Use OEM diagnostic and test equipment to perform trouble shooting and to verify repairs are completed.
