Position Overview:

Your contributions are vital in supporting surgeons during intricate procedures while ensuring meticulous documentation of patient care. Your responsibilities will encompass preoperative preparations and the maintenance of sterile conditions, facilitating seamless surgical operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist oral surgeons with precision during surgical procedures.
  • Maintain a sterile environment and ensure all instruments are prepared and available.
  • Engage in discussions with the surgical team regarding patient status and procedural needs.
  • Monitor patients throughout their surgical journey, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Perform radiographic imaging and compile comprehensive patient histories.

Work Schedule:

Monday to Friday

Qualifications:

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • BLS Certification (or completion within one month of hire).
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating sound judgment and critical thinking.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Excellent manual dexterity and listening skills, particularly in high-pressure situations.

Preferred:

  • Experience in oral surgery is advantageous.
  • DAANCE certification is a plus.
  • Licensed dental assistant status is preferred.
  • Radiology certification is beneficial.
