Job Summary

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul South Pinellas Inc. is seeking a skilled Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our clients and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize all areas of the facility, including offices, lounges, corridors, hallways, stairwells, kitchenettes, and laundry rooms.
  • Wash and fold bed linens, and empty and clean trash receptacles.
  • Clean and sanitize showers and bathrooms, sweep and mop floors, and vacuum carpets.
  • Clean glass doors, including those in emergency exits, and clean windows.
  • Dust blinds and monitor and report necessary repairs and replacements.
  • Clean in the CARE Center as needed, and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to speak, write, and understand English are necessary.
  • Flexibility with work hours and the ability to work independently are also required.
  • Knowledge of stripping and waxing floors is a plus.
Working Conditions

The Housekeeper will work in a fast-paced environment with occasional exposure to noise, communicable disease, and verbal abuse. The ability to work under pressure and maintain confidentiality is essential.
