We are seeking a motivated and skilled Leather Craft Specialist to join our team at Tandy Leather Factory.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, promoting products, and maintaining a clean and organized retail environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
  • Assist customers in selecting products, answer questions, share product knowledge, and recommend Tandy products.
  • Process purchases and returns using the POS system and internal computer systems accurately.
  • Help with receiving and stocking merchandise, maintaining inventory accuracy, and preparing displays/signage.
  • Alert management to potential security issues and perform other duties as assigned to support store operations.

Requirements:

  • Motivated by providing exceptional customer service and driven to achieve retail sales.
  • Personable and able to engage with a diverse range of customers.
  • A team player who can work efficiently both independently and as part of a team, maintaining self-motivation.
  • Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, shifting between multitasking and focused tasks as needed.
  • Willing to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays, based on business needs and seasonality.
  • Basic computer skills are required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Salary Range:

$30,000 - $45,000 per year, depending on experience.
