Job SummaryAs a Staff Nurse at Marklund, you will be responsible for administering medications, tube feedings, and treatments as prescribed. You will also prepare quarterly health assessments and annual assessments, inform the physician of changes in resident health status, and implement physicians' orders to ensure optimal healthcare.
You will work closely with residents, parents, physicians, consultants, and case managers to provide high-quality care and support. If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others and are committed to providing excellent care, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities- Administer medications, tube feedings, and treatments as prescribed
- Prepare quarterly health assessments and annual assessments
- Inform the physician of changes in resident health status and implement physicians' orders
- Complete daily charting for care provided
- Act as a liaison between residents, parents, physicians, consultants, and case managers
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a current RN license, be current on the Illinois Health Care Worker Registry, and have BLS CPR certification for Healthcare Workers.
