Dental Hygienist Position in Oak Creek

We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team at Oak Leaf Family Dental, located in the heart of Oak Creek.

Job DescriptionThis is an exciting opportunity to work as a Dental Hygienist in a dynamic and supportive environment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality dental care to our patients, working closely with our experienced dentists and other hygienists to ensure seamless patient care.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing thorough dental hygiene services, including cleanings, exams, and patient education.
- Collaborating with our dental team to identify patient needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to all relevant laws and regulations.
To be considered for this role, you must possess:
- A current dental hygienist license in Wisconsin and an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required).
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, and medical history documentation.
- CPR Certification and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
While not mandatory, experience with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems would be beneficial. Additionally, a desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills to meet patient needs and provide preventative care is highly valued.
Physical RequirementsThis role requires prolonged periods of sitting and standing, as well as the ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds when necessary. You must also be available to attend virtual training sessions periodically throughout the year.
At Oak Leaf Family Dental, we prioritize creating a safe and healthy environment for both our team members and patients. We require all new hires to undergo a tuberculosis (TB) test before starting employment, which will be arranged during the pre-employment process.
