Pediatric Optometrist

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Optometrist - Vision Care Specialist to join our team at VCU Health Ophthalmology in Richmond, VA.

Your Role:

As a Pediatric Optometrist - Vision Care Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining high clinical and ethical standards in direct patient care, working closely with residents and certified ophthalmic medical technicians to provide comprehensive eye exams and treatment plans. You will establish and promote an atmosphere of unity through collaborative practice and effective communication between staff disciplines.

Requirements:

• Candidate must have completed an Optometry Residency with advanced training in Contact Lens Fitting and Ocular Disease.
• Must possess/maintain or be eligible for a full, unrestricted license to practice Optometry in the State of Virginia.
• Must demonstrate expertise working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment.

Salary: The estimated annual salary for this position is around $150,000, based on industry standards and comparable positions in Richmond, VA.
