Position Summary
We are currently seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operations Associate to support our logistics and supply chain functions. This role is crucial in maintaining an organized and efficient warehouse environment, ensuring that materials are processed accurately and timely.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspecting incoming materials against shipping documents, identifying and reporting any discrepancies or damages.
- Organizing and storing materials in designated locations, ensuring compliance with storage protocols.
- Conducting regular inventory checks and reporting any issues related to material condition.
- Preparing materials for shipment and ensuring timely delivery to job sites.
- Assisting in the procurement of materials as directed, focusing on cost-effective solutions.
- Maintaining accurate inventory records and preparing necessary documentation for orders.
- Participating in safety initiatives and promoting a safe working environment.
- Delivering tools and materials to various locations as required.
- Ensuring cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and surrounding areas.
- Operating warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively.
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
- Experience in trades such as Electrical or HVAC is preferred.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including potential after-hours and weekends.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
