Position Overview:Xanitos is seeking Full-Time Environmental Service Technicians for the first shift (7:00 am - 3:30 pm). This role is essential in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness within healthcare environments.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain cleanliness of lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
- Sanitize rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other designated areas.
- Perform floor care including sweeping and vacuuming.
- Dust and polish furniture and equipment.
- Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
- Empty waste receptacles and manage waste disposal.
- Restock bathroom supplies as needed.
- Transport small equipment or tools between departments.
Experience in the cleaning industry is advantageous. Medical cleaning experience is a plus. Candidates must undergo a post-offer medical evaluation, background screening, and drug testing.
Physical Requirements:The physical demands of this position require the ability to stand, walk, and use hands for extended periods. Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of up to 50 lbs is necessary. Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus, with or without corrective lenses. There may be exposure to chemicals requiring special clothing or safety equipment.
Work Environment:Employees may encounter fumes or airborne particles and occasionally work near moving mechanical parts. The noise level is typically quiet.
