Program Description:

LITTLE MASTERS DEVELOPMENT CENTER L's Early Intervention Program provides in-home, in-school, and center-based services to children with developmental disabilities in all five boroughs of New York City. We are committed to providing high-quality services that meet the unique needs of each child and family.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Lead Teacher to join our team in Flushing, Queens. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of educators in providing center-based services to children with developmental disabilities. This includes developing and implementing individualized education plans, supervising and mentoring early childhood educators, and collaborating with families and other service providers to achieve child outcomes.

Responsibilities and Requirements:
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans for children with developmental disabilities
  • Supervise and mentor early childhood educators to ensure best practices in teaching and learning
  • Collaborate with families and other service providers to achieve child outcomes
  • Conduct regular progress monitoring and assessments to inform instruction
  • NY State Teacher of Special Education certification
  • Students with Disabilities Birth-2 certificate or LCSW/LMSW
  • Experience working with young children with developmental disabilities
