English Apothecary Pharmacy Job Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and professional Compounding Technician to join our team at English Apothecary, a Bethel, CT based retail pharmacy. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience as a Compounding technician in a pharmacy setting.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Assist pharmacists with day-to-day activities, including entering prescription orders into the computer and verifying patient information.
  • Communicate with insurance carriers to obtain payment for prescription claims and assist with filling and labeling prescriptions.
  • Prepare the pharmacy inventory and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Provide excellent customer service and screen telephone calls for the pharmacist.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Professional demeanor and strong communication skills.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and calculations.
  • Experience with PK software is preferred.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent degree.
  • 1-2 years of Compounding experience.
