Job Overview

Engineered Cooling Services is seeking a highly skilled HVAC Welder/Pipefitter Journeyman to join our team. As a key member of our commercial HVAC service team, you will be responsible for installing, testing, and repairing HVAC systems in commercial and industrial settings.

Responsibilities
  • Install, test, and repair HVAC systems, including piping, ductwork, and equipment
  • Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Measure and prepare materials for fabrication in the field and from drawings
  • Layout, install, and test piping systems
  • Make field modifications to pipe assemblies to fit unforeseen site conflicts
  • Rig and set large/heavy equipment safely
  • Use hand tools related to the trade and read a tape measure
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external customers
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with established specifications and schedules
  • Complete accurate and detailed work documentation
  • Produce high-quality work in a timely manner
  • Adhere to company safety standards and protocols
  • Maintain a clean workspace
Requirements
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • 5 years' experience in commercial and industrial HVAC installation (preferred)
  • 5 years' experience as an HVAC sheet metal mechanic (preferred)
  • OSHA 10 certification (preferred but not required)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Professional image and excellent communication skills
  • Flexibility to work overtime/weekends as required
  • Willingness to travel overnight as required
