As a Patient Care Technician with St. Vincent's Cardiology, you'll have the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals who share your passion for delivering high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer prescribed medications to patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN)/(LVN), maintaining accurate medical records.
- Present medication to patients and observe ingestion or administer medication using specified procedures.
- Take vital signs or observe patients to detect response to medication, and report reactions.
- Restock medication inventories.
- Provide direct patient care, ensuring resident safety by identifying potential hazards and emergency situations, and taking corrective action as needed.
