OBJECTIVE:

  • Act as the primary supervisor for drivers within the fleet operations.
  • Oversee driver performance and serve as the main communication conduit for drivers.
  • Strive to enhance both driver and customer satisfaction levels.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Act as the sole point of contact for drivers regarding load details, financial advances, and maintenance scheduling.
  • Manage a complete fleet of vehicles and drivers to ensure peak operational efficiency.
  • Ensure that drivers are well-informed of customer and company requirements for each delivery.
  • Conduct daily tracking and reporting of all assigned vehicles and drivers.
  • Perform additional tasks as required.

INTERACTIONS:

  • Engage in daily communication with drivers, fellow operations personnel, and management teams.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Basic proficiency in typing.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Ability to remain seated for extended durations.
  • Reasonable manual dexterity is required.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:

  • A college degree in business or equivalent experience of five years in fleet management.
