Job Overview

Position Summary

  • Responsible for the preparation of federal, state, and local tax submissions for individuals, corporate entities, or various organizations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reviews financial records and calculates tax obligations in accordance with established rates, statutes, and guidelines.
  • Completes documentation for tax reimbursements.
  • Advises leadership on the implications of business operations on tax matters and strategies for reducing tax obligations.
  • Ensures adherence to requirements set forth by tax authorities.
  • Acts as a representative for the organization in dealings with tax agencies.
  • Maintains organized tax documentation and conducts tax analysis and special assignments.
  • Offers tax-related guidance.
  • Provides training to team members.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related discipline.
  • Experience: Relevant certifications along with 3-5 years of pertinent experience.

Required Skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in mathematics.
  • Critical thinking skills.
  • Advanced problem-solving capabilities.
  • Customer service orientation.
  • Proficiency in Spanish is advantageous.
