About the RoleWe offer an estimated $62.50 per hour salary (negotiable) for this position, along with opportunities for bonuses and relocation assistance.
This role involves working as part of a mental health team, conducting psychological screenings and assessments, and developing individual treatment plans for inmates. You will also be responsible for making regular rounds in segregation or other confined housing areas to assess inmate adjustment and mental health treatment needs.
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough psychological screenings and assessments based on review of available records and clinical interviews with inmates.
- Collaborate with other clinical staff, including psychiatrists, mental health service providers, physicians, nurses, and social workers, to gather information and ensure integrated patient care.
- Develop, implement, and modify individual treatment plans based on evaluation of needs and level of functioning.
- Maintain accurate records of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A Doctoral degree in Psychology from an accredited college or university.
- A current, unrestricted license to practice psychology in the state where you will be practicing.
- At least two years of clinical experience, including one year in a comparable position.
- A valid driver's license.
