Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Urology Nurse to join our team at Jackson Purchase Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support to our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, collecting specimens, and performing clinical treatments.
  • Document patient care and communicate effectively with the care team, physicians, and patients.
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, nutrition, and ambulation.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions.
  • Evaluate patient learning needs and provide education and support to promote health and well-being.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Current RN licensure in the State of Kentucky; new graduates may work under a provisional license with the expectation of obtaining a RN license within six months.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
