Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate PICU Registered Nurse to join our team at TriStar Centennial Medical Center. As a PICU Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our pediatric intensive care unit.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions while maintaining accurate and detailed records.
  • Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient's condition.
  • Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients' responses and conditions.
  • Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.
  • Monitor all aspects of patient care in a collaborative multidisciplinary setting.
  • Instruct individuals, families, or other groups on patient care and disease process and discharge instructions.
Requirements
  • RN licensure by Tennessee Board of Nursing or a Board of Nursing from a compact state.
  • Current BLS.
  • PALS required within 6 months.
  • 1 year of RN experience required.
  • Pediatric ICU, Adult ICU or Pediatric experience highly preferred.
