Job Overview

This role involves significant contributions to the monthly and annual financial closing processes, including journal entries, data analysis, reporting, reconciliation, and the preparation of financial statements. The position offers a stable opportunity within a growing organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain financial statements and supporting schedules in accordance with monthly closing procedures.
  • Facilitate monthly closing activities, including accrual analysis and journal entries.
  • Analyze financial transactions to ensure accurate monthly recording.
  • Conduct monthly account reconciliations.
  • Assist in financial and tax audits.
  • Support the documentation and monitoring of internal controls.
  • Record fixed asset transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and depreciation.
  • Establish and uphold controls, procedures, and forms for fixed asset management.
  • Initiate vendor payments and assist with bank reconciliations.
  • Perform ad hoc financial analyses and projects as necessary.
  • Carry out general office tasks such as answering phones, filing, copying, sorting mail, and preparing items for mailing.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience.
  • Strong data entry capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CPA certification.
  • 2-4 years of experience in public accounting is preferred.
  • Proficiency in SAP FI/CO.
