Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Leasing Consultant to join our team at The RMR Group. As a Leasing Consultant, you will be responsible for supporting the leasing, retention, and occupancy goals of our residential communities. This is an excellent opportunity to build relationships, plan events, and take initiative while remaining flexible to meet the community's day-to-day needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and Engage with Prospective Residents: Provide exceptional customer service to prospective residents, showcasing the features and benefits of our properties.
  • Implement and Enforce Company Policies: Conduct all business in accordance with company policies and procedures, Fair Housing, ADA, and all other relevant laws and regulations.
  • Inspect and Prepare Properties: Ensure the quality appearance of our properties by inspecting models and market readies prior to showing.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Offer a professional and friendly atmosphere in the leasing center and other areas where residents and prospects interact.
  • Stay Informed and Competitive: Maintain a pulse on local market trends and offerings to provide valuable insights to our residents and prospects.
  • Process Leasing Applications: Complete paperwork accurately and timely, and maintain active guest cards until the prospect has chosen their home.
  • Assist with Daily Operations: Relay incoming calls, assist with daily and weekly reports, and perform other administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree preferred, with prior leasing and/or property management experience.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with residents, employees, peers, vendors, and owners.
  • Attendance and Flexibility: Excellent attendance is a requirement, with the ability to work a varied schedule, including weekends and holidays as required.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Language Skills: Bi-lingual abilities (written and verbal) may be required based on specific needs of the property.
