We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team at Omega Dynamics as a Specialist for Forestry and Landscape Maintenance. This role involves ensuring the safety of train traffic by maintaining vegetation along our rail network.
Key Responsibilities:- Independently and reliably carry out vegetation maintenance tasks, identifying and addressing potential hazards in the vegetation.
- Operate chainsaws, brush cutters, and specialized tools to maintain the rail network.
- Fell designated trees and eliminate quality defects, ensuring the safety of train traffic.
- Clearing of cuttings is also a critical aspect of this role.
- Utilize your trained eye to quickly identify potential hazards in the vegetation.
- Trained forester, gardener in landscaping, or comparable professional experience in vegetation management.
- Chainsaw certificate or willingness to obtain one with us.
- Valid Class B driver's license for daily travel to construction sites and transportation of equipment.
