Albany Medical Center seeks a skilled Assistant Nurse Manager to lead our Pulmonary/Renal Hospitalist team. As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will be responsible for coordinating patient care, mentoring staff, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate patient care and transitions throughout the acute care stay
  • Mentor professional caregivers in the delivery of patient care
  • Provide leadership and direction to unit-based staff
  • Collaborate with other service and department leaders to achieve short- and long-term goals

Requirements:

  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to mentor and develop staff
  • Experience in nursing leadership or management
  • Knowledge of hospital policies and procedures
