Job SummaryThis position will focus on providing high-quality behavioral health support and interventions to pregnant and post-partum women. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of perinatal mental health and experience working with diverse populations.
Key Responsibilities- Identify patients in need of behavioral health support and/or interventions, and provide patient-centered screening, diagnostic, and therapeutic interventions
- Implement best practices for responding to perinatal behavioral health concerns, and provide clinical support and guidance to colleagues within Healthy Start and Behavioral Health Department
- Assist primary health care providers in recognizing and treating mental health, substance use disorders, and psychosocial problems, and coordinate services with external mental health providers while adhering to HIPAA guidelines and contractual agreements
- Track client information, provide follow-up care plans, and document medical records per regulatory agencies and Hamilton policies
- A fundamental understanding of healthcare services and basic medical terminology
- Proficiency in basic data entry computer skills
- Ability to communicate courteously and effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds
- An industrious and cooperative nature to foster harmonious working relationships with clinic management, physicians, clinicians, and the public
- A Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or similar discipline
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist; Currently PA license through the State Board of Social Workers, Mariage and Family Therapists, and Professional Counselors required
- Prior CPR/First Aid certification
- One (1) year of working experience in medical and/or behavioral health setting
- Knowledge of The Joint Commission regulations
We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 annually, depending on experience, plus benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off. We are an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
