Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate EP RN Navigator to join our team at Overland Park Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will play a vital role in coordinating the delivery of high-quality patient care, ensuring seamless transitions between healthcare services, and promoting a positive patient experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care coordination.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, incorporating patient preferences and goals, to optimize health outcomes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify and address patient needs, streamline care processes, and improve overall efficiency.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, identify potential barriers to care, and develop strategies to overcome them.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families, empowering them to take an active role in their healthcare.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based guidelines and best practices.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred.
  • Current licensure as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice, with an active compact license if applicable.
  • Ability to achieve and maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required within six months of hire.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in cardiology, with demonstrated clinical competence and a strong understanding of arrhythmia and ablation care.

About Our Organization

Overland Park Regional Medical Center is a 340+ bed facility, providing acute medical services to our patients. We are Johnson County's only Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and Level II Trauma Center, with an Accredited Stroke and Chest Pain Center. Our hospital is a premier destination for Women's & Children's healthcare services, with a Maternal Fetal Health Center and a Level III NICU. We have four emergency rooms, including a dedicated Pediatric emergency room and two freestanding ERs located in Olathe and Shawnee.
