Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive hourly pay rate of $28-$32 per hour, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical insurance, dental and vision coverage, life insurance, and a 401(k) retirement plan with profit sharing.

Job Responsibilities

  • Inspect and diagnose heavy equipment to identify necessary repairs and maintenance.
  • Perform preventive maintenance, component upgrades, and winterization tasks.
  • Troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic systems to determine repair needs.
  • Conduct repairs on various systems, including powertrains, brakes, steering, hydraulics, and air conditioning.
  • Use technical software and tools for diagnostics and repairs.
  • Keep detailed maintenance records and ensure all documentation is up-to-date.
  • Collaborate with shop personnel, management, and fleet administrators.
  • Continuously enhance your skills through training and educational opportunities.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • A valid driver's license.
  • Preferred: 3+ years of diesel mechanic experience or a degree in Diesel Technology or a related field.
  • Background in construction mechanics is a plus.
  • Basic tool collection.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and a self-starter mindset.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to work independently when needed.
  • Dependability, positive attitude, and strong communication skills.
