Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced veterinarian to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to our patients, while also educating and advising pet owners on proper animal care and health measures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Medical Care: Perform medical examinations, diagnose illnesses, and provide treatment for a variety of animals.
  • Surgical Procedures: Perform surgeries, including spaying and neutering, tumor removals, and dental procedures.
  • Preventative Care: Administer vaccinations and medications to prevent and treat diseases.
  • Diagnostic Testing: Conduct laboratory tests, such as blood work and urinalysis, to aid in diagnosis.
  • Emergency Care: Provide emergency care and stabilize critically ill or injured animals.
  • Patient Education: Educate pet owners on proper animal care, nutrition, and preventive health measures.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
Requirements
  • Education: Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary school.
  • Licensure: Valid license to practice veterinary medicine in the state.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of animal anatomy, physiology, and diseases. Proficiency in veterinary critical care, and aseptic technique. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and staff members.
  • Experience: Ability to work well under pressure in emergency situations. Familiarity with veterinary terminology and medical equipment.
