Certified Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our team at SpartanNash. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our medication dispensing processes.

• Assist licensed pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications to patients
• Count, pour, weigh, and package medications with precision and accuracy
• Maintain patient profiles and insurance claims with attention to detail
• Provide exceptional customer service and respond to patient inquiries
• Operate cash registers and process transactions with accuracy and efficiency
• Stock and take inventory of medications and supplies
• Notify pharmacy managers of low stock levels and recommend replenishments

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• One year of prior customer service-oriented pharmacy-related experience preferred
• State registration or certification required
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents
• Basic mathematical skills
• Suggestive selling and knowledge of products
• Detail-oriented and organized
