We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Research Scientist to join our team at NYU Langone Health. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of translational behavioral medicine research initiatives and related projects within the Center for Healthful Behavior Change in the Institute for Excellence in Health Equity.
Key Responsibilities- Provide pivotal leadership and management to diverse, constantly evolving grant-funded research initiatives and related projects.
- Coordinate the development of training and intervention materials, and participate in the development, implementation, and management of new programs and/or program components.
- Conduct qualitative analysis of survey responses, interviews, simulated and real clinical encounters, and assist in the translation and dissemination of findings for policy, healthcare delivery system, and diverse community audiences.
- Monitor and evaluate programs/projects using mixed methods approaches and make recommendations for improvement.
- Coordinate the planning, development, and submission of grant applications, and manage the planning, conduct, and follow-up activities for research projects.
- Master's degree with at least 1 year of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Doctoral degree preferably in public health, health education, psychology, population health, or medicine.
- Experience working in prior management position; work in prior research position; working knowledge of the field of healthcare, population health, health education, psychology; prior experience with mixed methods approaches, grant application processes, IRB, and manuscript preparation.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $58,000.00 - $67,000.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
