We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Administrator to join our Information Technology department at Prestige Staffing. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert-level support across our network infrastructure, ensuring seamless connectivity and optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities- Network Monitoring and Management: Utilize industry-leading tools such as PRTG to monitor and manage our network infrastructure, ensuring prompt identification and resolution of issues.
- Wide Area Network (WAN) Circuit Management: Oversee the management of WAN circuits, ensuring reliable and high-speed connectivity across our organization.
- Wireless Network Management: Manage and maintain our Extreme Networks Wi-Fi system, ensuring secure and efficient wireless connectivity for our employees.
- Server and Virtual Machine Management: Monitor and manage Dell servers and VMware instances, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
- Backup and Disaster Recovery Management: Oversee the management of backup and disaster recovery mechanisms via VEEAM and Zerto, ensuring business continuity in the event of an outage.
- Storage Array Management: Manage and maintain Compellent and Nimble storage arrays, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Patching and Upgrades: Manage patching and upgrades across supported systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Education and Experience: Possess an associate degree (bachelor's preferred) with a minimum of 5 years of experience in network administration, with a focus on network architecture and backup/disaster recovery solutions.
- Technical Skills: Possess a broad range of knowledge related to networking, storage, and servers, with expertise in Cisco hardware and support contracts, routing, network protocols, wiring infrastructure, DNS, and DHCP.
- Soft Skills: Demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
