Job Summary

The City and County of San Francisco is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team. This role involves providing expert nursing care to patients in critical care settings, evaluating individual patient needs, and designing personalized nursing care plans.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Evaluate individual patient needs and develop comprehensive nursing care plans.
  2. Provide direct nursing care to patients, including leading group therapy sessions and providing expert advice to registered nurses.
  3. Develop and implement standards, policies, and procedures for specialized nursing care.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Nursing with an emphasis in critical care or a related field.
  • One year of experience in an acute care facility as a registered nurse.
  • Clinical Nurse Specialist Certificate issued by the California Board of Registered Nursing.
