Role Summary:
The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of daily maintenance tasks for a team of skilled mechanics and contractors. This role requires availability for consultations regarding maintenance and staffing challenges throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and manage work order schedules.
2. Supervise maintenance personnel to ensure effective operations.
3. Collaborate with engineering teams to address maintenance considerations in capital projects.
4. Assign tasks to meet maintenance needs while aligning with production timelines to minimize downtime and costs.
5. Review completed work to ensure readiness for operations, maintaining thorough documentation.
6. Engage in the continuous enhancement of preventative maintenance practices and record-keeping.
7. Manage requisitions for necessary repair parts and supplies.
8. Uphold company policies and regulations, ensuring compliance with the Union-Management Agreement.
9. Participate in safety and fire prevention initiatives, fostering a safe working environment that adheres to safety standards.

Qualifications:
Basic:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Technical training or experience in industrial maintenance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Preferred:
- Experience in industrial maintenance systems (bearings, gears, conveyors, etc.).
- Knowledge of metal and process piping fabrication.
- Familiarity with alignment and balancing of rotating machinery.
- Understanding of vibration, lubrication, and infrared analysis techniques.
- Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to perform well under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational capabilities.
- Competence in making informed decisions through creative problem-solving.
- Adaptability to changing circumstances and ambiguity.
