Role Overview & Key Responsibilities:
The primary role of the Assisted Living Staff Nurse is to deliver exceptional, professional healthcare to all residents within the Assisted Living community. Key responsibilities include administering prescribed medications, monitoring and documenting changes in resident health, and supporting nursing aides in fulfilling the daily care needs and preferences of residents. Additionally, this position involves overseeing Medication Aides and Certified Nursing Assistants (C.N.A.) in collaboration with the Assisted Living Director.

- Shift Differentials: +$2.00/hr for evening shifts (3pm-11pm) and +$2.50/hr for night shifts (11pm-7am). Additional +$3.00/hr for weekend shifts (in addition to evening or night shift differentials).

- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license through the appropriate state board.
- CPR certification or the ability to obtain it.

This role operates in a residential-style nursing environment with standard lighting levels, comfortable temperature ranges, good air quality, and low noise levels. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this role. The employee is frequently required to stand for extended periods. Additionally, the employee will routinely sit, stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push, and pull items weighing 60 lbs or less, and occasionally more than 60 lbs. The position requires manual dexterity, auditory and visual skills, and the ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures.
Contact with blood and body fluids may occur. Minimal hazards are present if Universal Precautions are followed.
