Assembly Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Assembly Worker to join our production team in Buckeye, AZ. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assembling steel joist components and performing tasks consistent with our corporate mission and values.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble steel joist components ready for final welding
  • Set up jigs and read shop drawings necessary for assembly
  • Moves parts into position and aligns them for welding
  • Tack welds or clamps parts into position ready for final welding
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor, including cleaning and metal scrap removal
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Six months experience in a heavy manufacturing environment, steel industry preferred
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written and oral instructions
  • Physical ability to stand continuously, walk, use hands and fingers to handle objects, and lift 50 lbs or more
