Role Responsibilities and Qualifications

The Radiologic Technologist operates standard and specialized X-ray equipment to conduct routine and semi-complex radiographic examinations essential for medical diagnosis and treatment. We pride ourselves on our supportive team environment and are looking for a remarkable individual who shares our passion for patient care.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing patients for radiological procedures and performing X-rays in accordance with established protocols.
  • Developing and processing radiographic films for review by a Radiologist.
  • Administering contrast media and medications as permitted by state and federal regulations.
  • Ensuring timely transfer of images and documents to the PACS system, maintaining image quality and accuracy.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and aseptic conditions in examination rooms and equipment.
  • Adhering to radiation safety protocols and guidelines.

Required qualifications:

  • Graduation from an AMA accredited Radiographic Technology program.
  • Compliance with ARRT continuing education requirements.
  • ARRT registration or eligibility, with registration required within one year of program completion.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
