Private Banker

This Private Banker position features a unique opportunity to provide high-quality, prompt, and professional financial services to clients in accordance with the rules, regulations, and guidelines of the bank.

The Private Bank Client Services Sr Associate will review and process a variety of customer service transactions, participate in the development of client relationships, and train and develop Client Services & Operations Assistants.

The role requires a strong understanding of both Commercial and Consumer products and how to service, educate, and assist Private Bank Clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review daily reports and take action as needed, including but not limited to; High Dollars deposits, and In-clearing Checks.
• Train, mentor, and develop the Operations Analysts.
• Track and execute departmental transactions, including wire transfers, book transfers, opening accounts, and deposits in accordance with Bank standards and procedures.
• Approve certain departmental transactions within predetermined authorized limits.
• Process and handle various transactions, including adjustments, corrections, recoveries, reports, general ledger entries, ATM/Visa maintenance and claims, Deceased Depositor and Dormant accounts, forgery claims, overdraft recovery, fee reversals, Federal Reserve adjustment requests, stop payments, bank and certified checks, lost passbooks and checkbooks.
• Verify and process all types of interest calculations, adjustments, and early withdrawal penalties.
• Process and review changes and corrections to customer information in computer systems and in customer files.
• Process (under dual control) mail items.
• Assist clients with their banking needs, including the opening of accounts and cross-selling of bank products and services as appropriate.
• Communicate with internal and external customers to resolve routine problems and issues, answer inquiries, and provide information to customers by telephone, mail, email, or in person on various accounts and other bank services.
• Assist in performing internal reviews of all assigned workflows to ensure adherence to Bank standards and ensure that department functions are compliant and in order as required.
• Complete daily check reviews, new account documentation reviews, and BSA request responses.
