This exciting role offers the chance to join a small and agile Hardware Engineering team focused on all electrical engineering aspects of Zebra/Fetch AMR products. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will collaborate with other team members to develop electronic, mechanical, and system designs. Your responsibilities will include designing and debugging printed circuit boards, engineering robust system designs, and prototyping all aspects of the hardware system. You will evaluate new technologies and develop new features for current and future Zebra/Fetch products, ensuring seamless integration across teams.

Key responsibilities include:
  1. Completing documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance.
  2. Maintaining effective communication with users to define system requirements and necessary modifications.
  3. Analyzing designs to designate necessary equipment for data collection.
  4. Evaluating and synthesizing experimental tests and their results.
  5. Designing plans to build electrical systems on various products and machinery.
You will also be responsible for collaborating cross-functionally with electrical, mechanical, firmware, software/firmware driver, and system software teams to define, develop, and test hardware systems, facilitating a successful handoff to production.

The ideal candidate will possess a BS in Electrical, Robotics, or Computer Engineering, along with 4+ years of experience, or a Master's Degree in Robotics or Computer Engineering with 2+ years of experience. Experience with ECAD software, Allegro (preferred), Eagle, Altium, or equivalent is required, as well as a strong working knowledge of best practices for PCB layout and construction. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Salary: $106,600-$160,000 per year

This salary range reflects the expected compensation based on location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience. The actual salary may vary depending on these factors and additional incentives.
