Job Title: Charge Nurse LPN

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Charge Nurse LPN to join our team at SKLD Beltline. As a Charge Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional care to our residents and ensuring the smooth operation of our nursing unit.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess residents' conditions and develop individualized care plans to meet their unique needs.
  • Provide direct care to residents, including administering medications, performing treatments, and assisting with daily living activities.
  • Supervise and mentor Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNAs) to ensure high-quality care.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Nursing and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Monitor and report any changes in residents' conditions, including injuries, illnesses, or concerns.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident care and satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Current state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
  • CPR certification.
  • One year of experience in long-term care, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize responsibilities.
  • Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in electronic medical records.
