Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dental Hygienist to join our team at Tru Family Dental. As a key member of our dental team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and promoting oral health through preventive and therapeutic treatments.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough dental hygiene exams and provide personalized treatment plans to patients
  • Develop and implement effective treatment strategies to prevent and manage dental diseases
  • Collaborate with dentists and other dental professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest dental hygiene techniques and technologies to provide the best possible care
  • Communicate effectively with patients, dentists, and other team members to ensure excellent patient satisfaction and outcomes
Requirements
  • Current dental hygienist license in Illinois
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required)
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, and patient screening and medical history documentation
  • CPR Certification
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems
  • Desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills to meet patient needs and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
