Job Summary

The Division of Cognitive Behavioral Neurology within the Department of Neurology at the University of Rochester Medical Center invites applications for a Clinical Neuropsychology position at an Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level for a full-time, tenure-track faculty appointment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive neuropsychological assessments of patients with a broad range of neurologic and psychiatric conditions
  • Generate research consistent with their interests and the mission of the Department
  • Educate students, residents, and fellows about assessment and treatment of cognitive disorders
Requirements
  • Completed a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from an APA/CPA accredited program
  • Enrolled in or have completed a formal two-year post-doctoral fellowship in Clinical Neuropsychology
  • License-eligible in New York State
  • ABPP/ABN Board certification in Clinical Neuropsychology or evidence of training commensurate with such certification
Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated teaching experience
  • Research experience, as evidenced by presentations and/or publications in clinical neuropsychology and/or clinical neuroscience
  • Demonstrated potential for external research support
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and student success, including working with broadly diverse communities
