Position Summary
The Financial Analyst (FP&A) will be integral to the organization’s financial planning and analysis functions, encompassing budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling. This role is designed to provide valuable insights that will enhance strategic decision-making and improve overall financial performance.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Analysis:
Conduct comprehensive variance analysis to identify the underlying factors affecting financial performance in relation to budget, forecast, and previous years.
Performance Measurement:
Evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to deliver actionable insights and recommendations.
Financial Planning and Budgeting:
Support the creation and management of the annual budget, long-term financial strategies, and periodic forecasts.
Reporting:
Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting.
Financial Modeling:
Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to assist in strategic initiatives, capital projects, and business planning.
Business Partnering:
Work collaboratively with business unit leaders to provide financial insights and facilitate decision-making processes, acting as a financial advisor across departments.
Process Improvement:
Identify and implement opportunities for process enhancements and best practices in financial planning, reporting, and analysis.
Ad Hoc Analysis:
Perform ad hoc financial analyses and projects as requested by senior management.
Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting is preferred.
A high level of intellectual curiosity and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Team-oriented with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
Proficient in Excel, MS Office, and financial software applications.
Experience with data analysis tools such as Power BI or Tableau is advantageous.
Familiarity with NetSuite is a plus.
Background in outdoor/action sports or consumer goods is desirable.
Exceptional presentation, reporting, and communication skills are essential.
A high level of energy and enthusiasm is expected.
Compensation and Benefits
Fitzii offers competitive compensation and benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and a 401K plan. The salary range for this position is between $70,000 and $85,000, depending on experience.
